“Unit 9 Review” – NoPrep Online ESL Curriculum (LVL1-U9-L10)

This is LEVEL 1 – UNIT 9 – Lesson 10 in our NoPrep Online ESL curriculum. The lessons in LEVEL 1 are intended for young, beginner-level learners with basic but limited knowledge of English.

The lesson includes 46 pages in total, reviewing all of the vocabulary, letters, and numbers from Unit 8:

  • Vocabulary: People & Jobs! (teacher, cook, artist, bus driver, doctor, veterinarian, police officer, firefighter)
  • Grammar & Usage: he is, she is, they are, do/does, verb+s, should, these/those
  • Sentence Patterns: Who is he? He is a cook. / Who are they? They are artists. / Where does she work? She works in a school. / Where do they work? They work in the police station.

There is a homework assignment at the end of the lesson to reinforce the concepts taught.

It is designed for a 25-minute class period, though it can easily be adapted for shorter/longer class times.

The lesson comes in 2 formats: .edb format (interactive, with draggable elements, for use on the ClassIn platform) or .pdf format (static, without draggable elements, for use on any platform).
