“People & Jobs (2)” – NoPrep Online ESL Curriculum (LVL1-U8-L2)

This is LEVEL 1 – UNIT 8 – Lesson 2 in our NoPrep Online ESL curriculum. The lessons in LEVEL 1 are intended for young, beginner-level learners with basic but limited knowledge of English.

The lesson includes 34 pages in total, reviewing the previous lesson and introducing the following:
Vocabulary: People & Jobs! (doctor, veterinarian, police officer, firefighter)
Grammar: he is / she is / they are
Sentence Patterns: Who is she? She is a doctor. / Where does she work? She works at a hospital. / Who are they? They are doctors. / Where do they work? They work at a hospital. 

The lesson also includes a simple homework assignment to help reinforce the content of the lesson.

It is designed for a 25-minute class period, though it can easily be adapted for shorter/longer class times.

The lesson comes in 2 formats: .edb format (interactive, with draggable elements, for use on the ClassIn platform) or .pdf format (static, without draggable elements, for use on any platform).
